My stomach is empty, I can’t get anymore nervous. This is the last tournament in the season. This is my time to shine, If I don’t play well I will never have a chance to start in the starting eleven players on the field. I finally make it to Houston, Texas. The long ride made feel more nervous because I think to my self why did I drive up here for… to play the game I know I can play. “It’s time to warm up” the assistant coach says. I here a whistle and the game is over already, I think to myself. It seems like the game just started. I wandered, why I was so nervous.
Nothing seems so bad after all.
I get that same feeling during baseball. It’s still a great feeling when it’s over though.
i read your story and I was wondering if your still in the starting 11.
Nice job, I like how your focus stayed on your feelings and not on the game. I sort of feel that way when taking a math test.
I got pooled out for a while, but after the season was over I trained hard and got back in the starting 11 as a attacking midfielder. Thanks for commenting Valerie
